Looking for the best press on nails to apply with ease at home? After trying out a few different methods and brands, I am confident I’ve found a winner.
I’ve always loved the look of polished nails but as a busy mom of young children, getting in a trip to the salon just isn’t always in the cards. Plus, frequent professional manicures can really break the bank.

This post is all about the best press on nails to apply at home.
Thank goodness I found imPRESS press on nails! These press on nails are the best beauty hack that will save you both time and money. They’re simply the best press-on nails out there.
In this post, I’m sharing everything you need to know about imPRESS nails. From how much they cost and what’s included in each pack to application tips and helpful suggestions for removal, I’m sharing it all. Let’s get into it!
KISS ImPRESS No Glue Mani Press On Nails
First, you’ll need to purchase a set of Kiss imPRESS nails. I order mine from Amazon (because hello, free shipping!), but you can also pick them up at your local pharmacy or Target.

Kiss ImPRESS offers many different shapes and sizes. I prefer the short, squoval nails with a glossy finish.
The nails are super shiny and look like a high end gel manicure. They are chip proof, water proof, and smudge proof!
What’s Included in Each Box?
Each box contains 30 nails so you get three manicures from one box. They retail for around $7, making each manicure less than $2.50! I’d say that’s easily a fraction of the cost of a salon manicure and they last MUCH longer.

In addition, each box comes with a small file, a prep pad, and a cuticle stick. They really did think of everything you’d need to do your own manicure in a flash!

No nail glue is needed with these nails. All of the nails come with super hold adhesive already applied, so you’ll simply peel off the clear film and press on.
How to Apply Impress Press On Nails
The application process seriously couldn’t be easier to apply these nails. These press on nails are slimmer than traditional press ons that require glue. Because of this, they’re easy to shape and mold to your individual nails.

Before starting, I make sure to wash my hands. Ensure they’re extremely dry before applying the nails. If your nail bed is wet they won’t last as long!

I use the prep pad that comes included and then quickly buff each of my nails with the included nail file. I’ll then peel off the clear adhesive tabs and apply the best sized nail to each nail, gently squeezing the sides of the press on to the shape of my nail before applying and pressing it on.
Each nail is numbered on the clear film, so you can match up the numbers for easy application and a perfect fit.

Simply peel and press! I will hold down on each nail for about 15 seconds to ensure it’s applied properly and I really do think this helps them last longer.
If needed, I will use nail clippers to trim down the press on nail to make them a bit shorter, too!
The best part? There’s no drying time! I can usually apply a full new set in five minutes or less!
How Do These Nails Hold Up?
I am HARD on my nails. As a busy mom of young children and someone constantly doing daily activities like putting my hands in water to wash dishes, working out, etc. you’d think press on nails would pop up relatively quickly. But, not these!

You’d be surprised how extremely durable these are! In my experience, if applied correctly they can last well over 2 weeks. They are insanely long-lasting nails.
ImPRESS Nail Removal
You don’t need any fancy removal kit to get this press-on set off.
After about two weeks (or whenever I’m ready for a new color), I will soak my nails in a small bowl of warm water with a few drops of dish soap. I’ll add a few drops of olive oil to the soapy water, too.

After about a minute I can slide the fake nails right off. It doesn’t leave any damage on your natural nails behind! You could always use a nail strengthener in between sets if you are worried, but I haven’t seen any reason to.
You can use the cuticle pusher to gently lift the press on nail if need be, but usually they slide right off very easily.
